Posted 5 months ago I have found a great outlet in network marketing, but other than JCPenney I have no formal sales experience. I'm married but have no kids and I no longer live in the town I grew up in. I'm in an area where the only people I see on a regular basis are the people I work with at my "real" job. I'm struggling to find people to reach out to and build relationships with. I'm not interested in cold-calling and I'm not having any luck depending on referals from friends & family. I really don't want to come across as a telemarketer. I've tried several different things and I'm learning from saleshq.com that most of those techniques are totally wrong :) I'm open for any suggestions and advice!!! I'm desperate. I have my dream job at my fingertips, I just need to get over the hump!!! |

| Posted 5 months ago Leave a business card wherever you go. At restaurants I leave my buisness card with a note on the back about the great food and service. When I gas up I leave the card on the desk or on the note boards. Not a lot of leads, a few come through. Nothing beats word of mouth. I am here to learn and help others in search of information. With everyone having a common goal we should be able to help one another grow in our professional and personal lives. |

| Posted 5 months ago Thanks Rich. I had thought about that, but really wondered if it worked. I was also curious if anyone else does it :) I'll take what leads I can get right now, and leaving a business card is not expensive! |
