 This is an age old question:  Why people are in business?.                                                                                                                                 

Every author of all the  sales help books,every Cd on sales help ,every  item on building a business claim it is to make a profit.

       I have a slightly different take on why you should be in business. I will claim it is not to make a profit but to build relationships. When building relationships that will with stand any price concern,Joe's down the street can deliever it cheaper,somone else has a better product  pr whatever the objections  then you can make a profit.Profit stems from building the relationships with the clients. If you have no relationships  you can not have profits that will be built to last.

 Profit is but one item that  is neccessary in order to run a business long term.
