New novel businesses ideas vs. proven business models

Posted 4 months ago I am so attracted to the new, big, beautiful business ideas. For example, the big box holistic pharmacy in my city called Elephant Pharmacy, which is like a "whole foods" of pharmacies with herbs and perscriptions. However, this business almost tanked because it was so different. It is boring opening a chain store or selling the new and improved widget....but it is probably smarter when you are considering risk.
What do you all think? If you have a new idea what steps should you take to explore the market? |
