Posted 8 months ago In the wise words of Homer J Simpson, "workin' is for losers" - I mean in the form of PAYE of course. I'd gladly work 23 and a half hours a day for myself. PAYE sector wont reward you when you retire! Slave to the wage. How depressing is it? It feels like other people ordering you around all the time. I'm not sure what business I'm going to set up yet but I'm settin one up! Scott, I completely agree with you about working for other people - I hate it!!!! Sometimes in the office when its boring as hell, I'm shouting inside my head, like Mel Gibson at the end of Braveheart -FREEDOM! Sorry for my rant!

Posted 5 months ago I started a Mail order business back in 2000. Using dropshipping I was able to run the business out of my apartment at the time. It was a lot of fun but never ending work. The competition was fierce and my supplier was my biggest headache. I miss it though, was a great experience. www.sfipowerline.net

| Posted 5 months ago Hi All, I'm starting something new right now, but in Vegas I had my own job developement company, I really loved doing it, I was my own boss and I worked at my own pace without feeling that I would get yelled at if I didn't work hard enough or follwed the regular 9-5 work format. I'm kind of my own person, do as I see fit, with in reason, of course, no breaking the law or doing anything illegal, alot one can do without causing grief for themselves or someone else.
Can we post our website here? Is someone can tell me, that would be great, I'm new to this and I am not sure what the rules are.

Posted 5 months ago I did in the 80's. Sold it in the 90's If I had known how easyt it was to sell I would have sold it in the 80's.We were involved with 200 homes a year during that time. I have to disagree with the idea you can not make money while working for others.I have to state you can learn and grow while working for others. I know for myself owning a business I grew tired of having to babysit, work 23 hours a day, motivating others to continue getting better at what they did. I could not believe people would prepare to go on vacation. Prepare to go out for an evening but refuse to prepare for their livelyhood. As long as they were being paid to gather information or continue their education they would do it as long as it was on my time. I have loved being able to go home.Spend time while my children ,seeing them grow ,seeing them making great decisions learning form bad decisions. In my field of work I do make more then 90% of those owning their own buisness, I have a great owner who does know the value of his employees. Now,at this time we are preparing to start a new venture. Now I have the ability with the knowledge I have gained while working for others to explore this new adventure. I have time to develope, improve ,endure the growing pains of this new venture. We are excited about the future. When I get this venture on the ground running,I am sure you will be informed. I am here to learn and help others in search of information. With everyone having a common goal we should be able to help one another grow in our professional and personal lives.

Posted 2 months ago Vincent says ... I started a company that was producing bio-diesel from Jatropha in Ghana, Africa. We had to sell future on neat oil. It was fun I knew nothing about neither selling neither the product. But I learned. The harder sell I had to do was to sell the concept to investors. It's been fun all the way. We had to sell our baby to another company in order to keep it alive... it was ... well ... Wow, How did you end up with a occupation without knowing what it was or how to sell. That sounds like a great story for those like me who need insight.
