I thought Kevin Dwyer's recent article, Marketing Buzz Word Bingo, was HILARIOUS. I also hate buzz words, and they almost always are way fluffier conceptually than they sound.

My personal fave to mock is CRM: Customer Relationship Management. Its the lamest! CRM makes relationships sound so clinical and sterile.

Anyone have any others?

SEO - I've come to hate this frickn word (and i'ts other variations)

NSO - Natural Search Optimization
DAA - Digital Asset Optimization

seriously it goes on and on....

I'd personally like to call it Free Search Engine Exposure (feel free to branstorm your own acronym for that one).

Seriously though, this is an opportunity ripe for lateral marketing. I'll reanmae the damn thing, create my own buzzword category, and own it over night ; )

BFF: Best Friends Forever.

I feel like girls used to say that to one another in Jr. High and now those same women are calling eachother that in their 30s.

I think a grown woman has no business saying, "so-and-so are totally BFF's". I guess I have a prejudice against cutsy baby talk.
