                                                                                   Time

Tic, tic, tic, tic, and tic time ticks away fast, it slips away from all people. We use time as a way to run away from doing what we know we need to get do. We all know time flies by as we have witnessed time passing quickly when our children go through the different stages of development. Just yesterday the children happened to be crawling on the floor now they are learning to drive then in college. Before we know it they have become young adults making splendid decisions and buying their first automobile.

How does this time slip away? Why do we as individuals allow it to be stolen? Why do we as individuals give the time away? How can time be recovered? How can we regain the time that has gone missing from our side? Why do individuals use time as an excuse?

The excuse I do not have the time to do this or that? We are to busy and can not do this or get that. The other day I was speaking to a school teacher who stated they did not have the time to research how they could do better. They became angry when I doubted time as being the reason. I asked a simple question when you as the teacher give out an assignment and a student does not complete the assignment what was the punishment? They replied the student would receive a zero. My reply what if the student told you that they did not have the time to do the assignment, what would be the grade? The grade still would be a zero. Why I asked, you just said not having time was a legitimate reply and was an acceptable excuse.

You could see the wheels turning; however nothing can be used to defend time wasted. Time is a benefit to all people. There is enough time to complete whatever it is that you wish to complete. The key word wish, you must want to complete the task at hand.

You can complete any thing if you decide the price you want to pay in order to accomplish the feat. What we mean by pay the price to you; would be the time you want to put forth accomplishing a desired outcome. If you wish to put no physical exertion or time, you will run out of time, time becomes an opponent to the accomplishment. If you do not desire a positive result you will run out of time.

You must decide how much you want to invest in accomplishing a project whether that project is educating yourself to be the best that you can possibly become or finishing the project that was started six months ago. The time spent must be learning everything you can on the subject you are currently endeavoring. Read everything you can on that subject.

When time is looked upon further it becomes an attitude that one must have in order to have success. The success depends on how much drive you have in order to become the best at what you wish to become. No one wants to be average, complacent never accomplishes goals.

Time management will be required to be mastered. When at home reading a book or magazine will be better then watching television, doing meaningful tasks over takes sitting in a chair relaxing. Do something with the time you do have instead of wasting the time and using that time wasted as an excuse for not having the time to accomplish something meaningful. Time is precious; using it to your favor will be required.

How does time become attached to the sales process? You as the sales technician shall give the time that will be needed to learn product knowledge and towards, the how to complete the sale. Do more then you should with researching the profession of sales that will include management, sales, objection and attitude and the care of people.

I am always astounded and perplexed while speaking to others about the sales process and how often I hear these words I just do not have the time. I hear from employers their employees want to take time out of the work day to be educated on the sales process. The employees tell me the owner of the company will not allow them to take the time during the day to help them become educated on the sale process. It is time to stop being lazy especially when it will benefit you for the rest of your life. You must earn the right to be called a professional. You must commit to becoming more professional.

Start using time wasted in the evening and on the weekend for meaningful education towards a better life both professionally and personally. Amazingly you will find all areas of your life growing swiftly. The vocabulary that once was common will rapidly increase and conversations will become easily obtainable and the simplicity of conversing with others will become a relief to you.

No longer are you the time waster, you now can value the time to increase you awareness.
